We are here to serve you during these uncertain times and to take every measure we can to improve the safety of our customers and work environment for our team members. Streets Market has implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols across all stores and facilities, on top of our standard cleaning procedures. We are constantly adapting our operations and procedures to comply with CDC guidelines which are outlined below:

Modified Store Hours: Currently, all of our stores will be operating with modified hours from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM, seven days a week.

Grocery Delivery and Free Pickup: To minimize contact and support efforts for social distancing, we launched our online store on Instacart and Mercato. We offer daily delivery and free pickup services for grocery and convenience items (i.e. toilet paper) on our website. Click on the “Order Online Now” button to get started!

Face Covering Requirements: Per local mandates, we require shoppers to wear a face covering while shopping in our stores located in DC and Maryland. However, all shoppers are encouraged to cover their faces and observe social distancing rules in our stores.

Social Distancing: We have limited the store capacity and installed floor/wall signage to encourage social distancing (staying six feet apart from other people) and ensure that staff and customer interactions can happen at a safe distance.

​

Plexiglass Shields: We will be installing temporary plexiglass shields at check-out counters to protect cashiers and customers through social distancing. Please excuse our appearance as we work to install these throughout the week.

Team Members in Gloves and Masks: As a precaution, our team members will be wearing disposable gloves and masks during their shift and are required to frequently wash their hands. Please note that this does not mean that they are ill and this procedure is encouraged by our team as a precaution.

Store Sanitation: We use a third-party sanitation crew to clean and disinfect our stores on a predetermined basis after stores close. During store hours, employees frequently disinfect high-touch surfaces (shopping baskets, carts, etc.) and high-traffic areas (check-out counters).

Meal Pick-Up and Delivery: Noma (51 M St NE) is open daily for pick-up in the store or delivery via UberEats and DoorDash.
